Day 31

Up early and over to Salt Spring with stops along the way for the Farm Tour. We made it to Mistaken Identity winery and Harbour House, yum!

Day 23

We flew back from Dent to Vancouver today. 

A beautiful flight. It's good to be home.

Day 22

Day 2 at Dent, we went for a hike along Tugboat Trail before a birthday celebration at Dent Island Lodge. 

What a meal.

And what a way to spend a very special birthday with special friends. Thanks, Brian, Tannis, Jim, Don, Barbara and Bram!

Day 21

Leaving Squirrel Cove, our route took us up the east coast of Cortes and into Desolation Sound through Yuculta Rapids eventually to Dent Island where we stayed for a couple of nights.

What a spot to listen to the sounds of nature at Canoe Pass.

Day 20

Day 2 in Squirrel Cove!

And we decided to head to Manson's Landing, another lovely spot on Cortes Island. 

Day 19

Today was our first day at Squirrel Cove, a lovely spot on Cortes Island. Great place for swimming (watch out for the jellies!), read or have a refreshment.

Day 18

Day 2 at Cortes Island. Huub and I went to yoga on the deck overlooking the harbour and then went for a run today to Carrington Bay.

Day 17

We motored up to Gorges Harbour on Cortes Island.

A beautiful spot to listen to music and enjoy the views over the harbour.

Day 16

Headed over to Pender Harbour where we anchored for the night.

Weather gorgeous.

Day 15

Today we left for Keats Island, Day 1 of our week to Desolation Sound with Brian, Tannis and Max on board Panacea. 

Day 14

Today we bumbled around, made some yummy food, rode on the seawall and ended up for drinks with Don in his Yaletown pad with amazing views of the creek. Sweet!

Day 13

Today we went out to UBC, to Belkin Gallery, new Alumni Centre and then to Cafe St George in Fraserhood, relaxing day!

Day 12

Today, went to Granville Island through the Art Gallery and the Armoury District.

Nice cars, Bugatti, Lamborghini, etc.

After an aquabus ride, we ended up on the boat for an impromptu snack.

Day 11

We slowly made our way home with stops in the Cowichan Valley and Drumroaster coffee.

And the ferry from Mill Bay to Brentwood Bay where we stopped for lunch. 
 
A quick stop for ice cream and gallery browsing at Mattick's farm and it was off to catch the ferry.

Day 10

Day 2 on beautiful Sproat Lake! We ended up doing a couple of hikes around the area.

Day 9

Went to Vancouver Island this weekend to stay a couple of nights with friends on Sproat Lake near Port Alberni. Gorgeous.

We went out on a boat and had a blast.

Ended up at the Comox Valley Farmers Market and a quick stop at Red Tree Roastery. Yum!

Day 8

It's great to be mobile on my bike, a Townie cruiser. 

I love heading out along Vanier Park after a swim hitting the gravel path and past the sculpture that's there. 

I ended up heading around the creek and then home.

Then home for an eggplant stack. Yum!
